1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduRipple ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

By creating an account or using any feature of EduRipple, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

2. Description of Service

EduRipple is an AI-powered teaching assistant designed to support educators delivering the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). The Platform assists users by generating lesson plans, schemes of work, assessment rubrics, and related educational resources.

EduRipple provides educational assistance tools only and does not replace professional teaching judgment.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

To use core features of the Platform:

  • You must be a teacher, educator, or authorized education professional.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account.

You agree to notify EduRipple immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use EduRipple only for lawful educational purposes. You may not:

  • Resell or commercially distribute generated content as a standalone product or service.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or interfere with the Platform or its AI systems.
  • Submit harmful, abusive, unlawful, or inappropriate prompts or content.
  • Use the Platform in a manner that disrupts service availability.
  • Share or transfer your account credentials to another person.

EduRipple reserves the right to restrict usage that violates these Terms.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important Notice: Content generated by EduRipple is AI-assisted and intended as a starting point for educators.

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Reviewing all generated materials before classroom use.
  • Verifying alignment with current KICD guidelines and CBC standards.
  • Adapting materials to suit specific learners and classroom contexts.
  • Confirming factual accuracy and appropriateness of generated content.

EduRipple does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free, complete, or fully aligned with every institutional requirement.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Educational materials generated through EduRipple may be used by users for teaching and educational purposes.
  • The EduRipple platform, software, branding, and underlying technology remain the property of EduRipple.
  • References to CBC curriculum standards remain the intellectual property of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Platform or its technology to users.

7. Data Usage

User prompts, interactions, and generated outputs may be processed and analyzed to improve platform performance, reliability, and AI capabilities.

All data handling practices are described in the EduRipple Privacy Policy.

EduRipple does not sell personal user data to third parties.

8. Service Availability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

EduRipple does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted access,
  • error-free operation, or
  • continuous availability of AI-generated services.

Service functionality may depend on third-party providers and APIs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduRipple shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or educational outcomes resulting from the use of the Platform, including reliance on AI-generated content.

Users assume responsibility for reviewing and applying generated materials appropriately.

10. Suspension and Termination

EduRipple may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • violate these Terms,
  • misuse the Platform, or
  • create risks to system security or other users.

Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting support.

11. Changes to These Terms

EduRipple may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
